A half an hour before each service they had a special room set up with a cereal bar with a fun assortment of cereal and milk all ready to go. It was easy, cheap and a huge hit.
C'mon, who doesn't love cereal?
For us, last Sunday was promotion Sunday, the day when kids, and many leaders, move up to the next grade in Children's Ministry. We've also been through some big transitions recently, and this was just a great way to communicate some value to our amazing volunteers.
So, if you're looking for a fun way way to encourage your leaders, there's no need to think outside the box. Think inside the box, the cereal box, and have a blast with your volunteers.
